Support during your studies at Hellyer College.
At Hellyer College, we are committed to supporting every student through a holistic wellbeing approach, consistent with DECYP values of respect, growth, courage and connection. College life is different from high school, and we aim to ensure all students feel safe, supported and empowered to thrive both academically and personally.
There are many people and services available to assist students throughout their educational journey. Students are encouraged to speak with any of the following staff members if they have questions about their course or require assistance with wellbeing, pastoral or general concerns.
Student wellbeing is central to every staff member's daily work. Career and Life Planning (CLP) is a class designed to help students develop knowledge of career pathways, future options and personal growth. Your CLP teacher will support your progress over your two years at Hellyer College and is the first point of contact for parents and carers.
